· Homeless Prevention - one-time rent or utility payment allows individual or family to remain in home

· Transportation - Public transit available to all residents of Marion County

· Chore Service - Yard work, shoveling, minor home maintenance and repairs for elderly and disabled residents

· Low-Income Home Energy Assistance - Help paying winter heating bills

· Food Pantry - Provides food staples in emergency situations

· Emergency Crisis Intervention - Assistance for repair/replacement of furnaces. Purchases heaters, blankets, fans and air conditioners

· Emergency Utility and Rent Assistance - Assistance with eviction notices and utility disconnects through direct payments to landlord/vendor

· Low-cost Weatherization - Plastic, caulking, weatherstripping to help reduce heating and cooling costs

· Weatherization - Workers perform energy audit and weatherize homes with insulation, caulking, inefficient appliance replacement and furnace repair and replacement

· HPRP - Assistance with rent or utilities

· Utility Assistance - Utility Company customer contributions help low-income customers pay their bills

· hawk– i Program - Assistance and applications regarding no-cost/low-cost insurance for children

· FaDSS - Referrals to family development program

· Lifeline Phone Assistance - Assistance completing applications

· Recreation Pass - Reduced or free admission to Knoxville Recreation Center

· Aging Resources - Applications and referrals for advocacy and financial assistance for the elderly

· Embrace Iowa - Apply for Des Moines Register Christmastime program
