COMMUNITY SERVICES
Provides applications for nearly all agency services. Families can also recieve information on community services which may benefit them.
Additional programs served by Community Services:
Woodbury County General Assistance
The Community Action Agency of Siouxland began administering the General Assistance program for the Woodbury County Board of Supervisors in August 2003. Households receiving help from the General Assistance program must be at 100% of Federal Poverty guidelines.
ICare
Sponsored by MidAmerican Energy, we administer the ICARE program. MidAmerican customers make a donation to help others pay a portion of their heating bills.
WeCare
Employees of the Community Action Agency of Siouxland contribute to the WeCare program which allows us to help families as we deem necessary. This fund is generally used when all other funding sources are exhausted. Funding is not guaranteed and is based on individual circumstances and funding availability.
