Credit Union
The credit union was chartered in January, 1968. The first loan was for $100.00. In addition to SCICAP employees and family members, we have added Decatur County Hospital, Decatur County Employees, City of Leon, Westview Corporation, Southern Iowa Resources for Families, South Central Home Health, Central Decatur School (non-teaching staff), owners of Individual Development Accounts(IDA) and Wayne County Employees. We currently have 890 members with assets of $2,419,922.00. Employee groups can be approved by the State.
- We offer unsecured, real estate and new or used vehicle loans. Dividends are paid on savings twice a year (at the end of June and December).
- Membership is limited to the above employee groups, however all family members of current members are eligible to join.
- Employee groups can be approved by the State.
