Story County Dental Clinic

Created to fill the needs of low-income Story County residents, the Story County Dental Clinic has helped many adults and children without dental insurance obtain affordable dental care. The clinic offers a range of dental services to uninsured patients, ages 5 and up, and those on Medicaid for a small fee, which is determined on a sliding scale. With a full-time dentist on staff, the clinic offers similar services to a typical dental clinic, including:

  • Cleanings
  • Exams
  • X-rays
  • Fillings
  • Basic extractions
  • Root canals

Located in the Story County Human Services Center in Ames, the clinic is open four days per week. If you are in need of services, please call our receptionist to setup an appointment at 515-956-4595. Appointments can be scheduled during office hours, which are as follows:

Tuesday: 8:30 - 5:30
Wednesday: 8:30 - 5:30
Thursday: 8:30 - 5:30
Friday: 8:30 - 5:30
