Low-Income Home Energy Assistance(LiHEAP)

Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) Households may receive assistance in payment of their fuel bills to ensure continuation of service or restore utility services that have been shut off. Assistance is based on household income, household size, type of fuel, type of housing, and several other factors. Emergency crisis intervention is also available to repair or replace heating systems, provide emergency fuel delivery, or purchase air conditioners and fans.
