Parent Partner
What is the Parent Partner Program?
The Parent Partner Program of Upper Des Moines Opportunity is a parent advocacy program partnering with families that have experienced having a child removed from their home by the Department of Human Services.
Parent Partners serve as mentors who support other "parents" who are struggling to keep their family together and to successfully parent.
Parent Partners are parents whose "life experience" is seen as valued education.
The Parent Partner Program of NW Iowa Project serves the following counties:
- Clay
- Dickinson
- O'Brien
- Osceola
- Buena Vista
- Cherokee
- Plymouth
- Lyon
- Sioux
You may contact us directly at (712) 332-2581 (phone) or (712) 330-3849 (cell) or e-mail us at infoparentpartner@udmo.com. You may also contact your local Department of Human Services worker and ask for a referral to the program. We encourage you learn more about the program at UDMO's Parent Partner website.
