The viral nature of Facebook allows non-profit organizations to build online networks and to distribute messages, events notices, photos and more! Messages: ICAA will primarily utilize Facebook as their main social media distribution outlet. Approximately 400 million online users have Facebook accounts making it the overwhelming popular choice and the best place for ICAA to connect with its clients, partner agencies and citizens passionate about a cause they hold dear to their hearts. Event Notices: ICAA will post event notices to their Facebook page both as a way to notify interested parties and partner agencies of upcoming events but also as a way to keep an approximate running tally of event attendees. Notices can link back to the ICAA web site where guests can officially register for upcoming events. Photos: ICAA will post event photos and other images related to ICAA programs. These images will provide visual reinforcement of ICAA’s mission & organizational goals. Iowa Community Action Association Facebook Page: Recovery.gov Facebook Page: |
